Doctor and Dentist Day..

Nothing fun and interesting today...

I took both kids first thing this morning for their annual check-ups.
My son grew 2 inches and gained 10 pounds while my little lady had a growth spurt of 3 inches and 4 pounds in one year.

He was up to date with all his shots and she was due for 2 shots especially since she is starting Kindergarten this year... It's better to go get your Blue and Yellow forms now before school out for summer and it becomes a headache to get those school forms.

Before the shot

After her 2 shots :(

We left our Pediatricians office and headed over to our Pediatric Dentistry.
I had scheduled both appointments for the same day and I must say that both kids did great!!

They had their regular 6 month dental check-up and cleaning. The Dentist said her teeth looked great and so did his, except he needs to go back in about a month to get sealants.

In case you are unaware, Sealants work by filling in the crevasses on the chewing surfaces of the teeth. This shuts out food particles that could get caught in the teeth, causing cavities. The application is fast and comfortable and can effectively protect teeth for many years.

The application of a sealant is quick and comfortable. It takes only one visit. The tooth is first cleaned. It is then conditioned and dried. The sealant is then flowed onto the grooves of the tooth and allowed to harden or hardened with a special light. Your child will be able to eat right after the appointment.
