End of the year Preschool Party!

School is almost out for summer and every school does something special for the school kids to say goodbye and celebrate a great school year. At my son's school all the teacher's did their own special party. My son's 2nd grade class had a pizza party and they also got to play board games all day. The teacher also made them a nice treat bag to take home at the end of the day.

My daughter's preschool also had a party and one of her classmates 5th birthday is sometime in June but his parents decided to include his 5th birthday on the same day as the end of school year party. That just meant more sweats and more to celebrate in one day. It was fun for all the kids!

I decided to go ahead and have an Ice Cream Party with the kids. This was fun and I realized kids enjoyed this more than buying cupcakes. Parents all know kids only tend to lick the icing off the cupcakes and throw out the cake but they ate the ice creams all up! I did not want the kids to make a huge mess at the school either so we had no fancy stuff, nor sauces but I took cookies, sprinkles, cones, vanilla and chocolate Ice cream and it was a hit.

Here is her school cubby with her picture on it =D

Best friends!!

They all had a great time and they are hard working and getting ready for graduation day!

My Baby Girl turns 5 :D

I can't believe that my little lady turns 5 today...

I teared up this morning realizing that my baby girl is getting older..
Where has time gone?

I am blessed to have her as my child! She is an amazing little lady who warms my heart and makes me smile even when I am down. Today, I will celebrate her and her birth!

We started her birthday celebrations at her preschool. It was great to see her so excited to celebrate with her friends. When she walked into the school all the kids in her class began to cheer for her, she got lots of hugs and they made her feel extra special.

Here are the cupcakes.. They were so good and moist!

This is how we set up the table at school..

The kids were so excited!

Here they are singing Happy Birthday.

With some of her friends and she even got a little messy ;)

After eating and celebrating inside the school they went outside to the playground and jumped, climbed and just played off some of the sugar from those yummy cupcakes.

In my opinion the school party was a huge success..

The party was very simple to plan and came out very nice.. I did not have to spend a lot of money to make it special nor was there a whole lot of cleaning up to do after. The most important thing to me was that she was extreamly happy to have all her friends there with her..

The kids all had a wonderful time and the birthday girl was very Happy.. It was a very GOOD day!

We ordered Cupcakes for school!!!

Melody's 5th birthday is fast approaching and since we are going to have her birthday party at school this year, I do not want to deal with the hassle of cutting a cake for 24 four/five year olds. I instead went to Sam's club and ordered a box of cupcakes today and let me tell you they are adorable..

They will put little princess rings on each cupcake that the kids can take home.
Here is a close up of the cupcake with the rings, aren't they cute?

I also think that the price for 30 cupcakes was a great deal, less than $13 dollars.

I don't think I or any parent can go wrong with these and she is totally thrilled about them ;)
